Stuart Thompson - Principal

Stuart has undertaken considerable amounts of work for the EC in developing project and programme designs around funding allocations and objectives. He brings a wide experience of different policy frameworks and situations as well as work at all levels, from producing working papers for the European Commission and policy documents at governmental level, to work in facilitation of local voluntary groups in developing strategy. From this he has considerable experience of developing consensual documents from initially difficult starting points.

Stuart has been closely involved in a number of groups run on a voluntary basis, and has specific experience of the City of Durham Community Network as a Community Representative since 2005 and Vice Chair of the Network as of 2008. He is currently the Chair of the Business and Regeneration Policy Group of City of Durham LSP, Vice Chair of the Durham Committee of the North East Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the North East Area Policy Unit of the Federation of Small Business.

Stuart is a Member of the Institution of Economic Development and therefore is bound by its Code of Professional Conduct for Consultancy.
